Sydney 11-12 November, 2027 travel plans taking shape + exclusive (and cheeky) snaps of late…

I’ve been slowly sorting through photographs from the last few months and, predictably, have made very little progress. It turns out I’m considerably better at collecting experiences than editing them down.
I spent much of August in Canada, with Calgary as my temporary home and a lovely invitation to Vancouver for a sleepover. Somewhere in the middle of it all, I took an extravagant detour to Paris for three nights at the Ritz. A gentleman had dreamt of us meeting there and decided to make the necessary arrangements. Imagination and initiative; a rather compelling combination, don’t you think?
As if Paris needed any more theatre, our visit also coincided with a solar eclipse. I’ve been reflecting on the trip quite a bit since returning home. For all its extravagance, some of my favourite moments had very little to do with the surroundings. Anyway, a few photographs from our Parisian interlude, which I am not game to share on socials seemed like a welcome treat here. Mirror shot or renaissance painting?

Since I’ve been home, I’ve already started plotting my next little escape.
Sydney treated me exceptionally well on my first visit earlier this year, and I’ve been looking forward to returning ever since. I’ll be back for two fleeting days on 11th & 12th November, with a lovely private apartment tucked away in Surry Hills.
I’ll be keeping room for one dining date each evening. Sagra, Bon Vin, Sixpenny and Bennelong are all on my ever-growing list, though I’m easily persuaded by a gentleman with excellent taste and imagination.
I’m now welcoming thoughtful enquiries and do hope our stars align!
Looking a little further ahead, April, May and June 2027 are beginning to take shape….

I’m considering time in London, with European FMTY availability (perhaps a little more Parisian romancing awaits?), followed by Toronto and a return to Calgary. Vancouver is a possibility too, by invitation.
I haven’t booked flights just yet, so there’s still plenty of room for the itinerary to be influenced by an interesting proposition.
I’ve become rather fond of the places a gentleman’s imagination can take me.
With affection,
Louise x
